TV9, a Telugu news channel has aired a program titled Ram Dhamaal Varma, focusing on RGV’s latest release KSD Appalraju. The program is made on criticizing Varma with few baseless and unlawful accusations. RGV, who has noticed the program, has sent legal notices to TV9 for telecasting such defamatory programme. Varma has released a press statement about the legal proceedings against TV9. "With regard to an extremely derogatory programme done by TV 9 on me titled ‘Ram Dhamaal Varma’ where they have attributed many false quotes to me, of which one example is ‘prekshakulu verri vedhavalu’, I am hereby informing that I am initiating criminal action against TV 9 for defamation with a criminal intent."
Cute star Shahid Kapoor reportedly cancelled all his appointments yesterday and waited impatiently till the afternoon for Priyanka Chopra to arrive from Malaysia. This duo who will not make their feelings public, spent Valentine's together. Shahid was in Bangalore three days ago where he flew the F-16 aircraft for Mausam. And PC shot a sequence with Shah Rukh Khan in Malaysia for Don-2. It is said that both Shahid and Priyanka had made a pact that they will reach Mumbai on February 14 for their Valentine's Day date. Lots of news making rounds in Bollywood that Jiah Khan has tied the knot. "Jiah has married. We don't know the guy's identity, but he is a foreigner for sure." Said a close friend of Jiah Khan to the Mumbai Mirror on Friday. "Jiah is very prominent, in the party circuit, in UK. She has many foreign friends. But, we were quite surprised, when we knew about her marriage. We are trying to check on the details." Despite, repeated text messages and calls to Jiah, she has remained unavailable for comment. Ironically, Jiah was last seen, in Sajid Khan's Housefull, as Devika, a woman who cheats on her husband, with a foreigner, who she wanted to get married to, but could not because her father would not approve of a non-Indian son-in-law.

Ram Gopal Varma comic flick “Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalraju” is gearing up for its release on 18th February worldwide. The producer of the film has submitted the first copy of the movie to Censor Board and the movie has received U/A certificate with no cuts. The film casts Sunil, Swathi, Sakshi Gulati in key roles. Kiran Kumar Koneru produced KSD Appalraju and the movie is touted as a full-fledged situational comedy entertainer with regard to the hard-hitting satires on Telugu film industry. KSDA has already created enough buzz with its trailers and brochure and teasers.
The first ever combo of Mass hero Gopichand and creative director Krishna Vamsi’s directorial Mogudu was launched on 13th February at Ramanaidu Studios. Several Tollywood bigwigs Puri Jagannath, VV Vinayak, Surender Reddy, Rajamouli, D.suresh Babu and others attended the launch apart from the cast and crew. Young Tiger Jr NTR tapped clap for the muhurath shot. VV Vinayak switched on the camera and Puri Jagannath has directed the first scene of honour. The legendary banner Vyjayanthi Movies has completed its 36 years of successful journey in Telugu cinema industry. The banner has the history of producing movies for heroes of three generations from the same family. Now the same banner is producing a movie for Jr NTR titled “Shakti”. Ileana is playing the lady love of NTR. C.Ashwini Dutt is producer. The shooting has come to end. Producer speaking, “It is a prestigious movie for our banner. I am happy to produce this combo of Meher Ramesh and NTR. The movie’s title goes with power and strength of NTR. We have completed the entire shooting except some songs. We are planning and making efforts to release the movie on March 30” he said. Audio will be released on this 27th said the source. Puja Bedi, Sonu Sood and Jackie Shroff are playing significant roles. 
Handsome hero Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming movie “Damarukam” was launched on a grand scale, couple of days back at Annapurna Studios. Several T-town bigwigs such as Movie Moghul D Rama Naidu, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Puri Jagannadh, S.V.Krishna Reddy were spotted at the event. Srinivas Reddy is directing the movie and RR Venkat is producing it. Damarukam has Anushka Shetty in the main female lead role. Speaking about this socio-fantasy film Nagarjuna says, “I was waiting to do a socio-fantasy film and now RR Movies Banner has provided the opportunity. I liked Damarukam script, which is entirely unique from the regular ones. The movie has lot of scope for visual effects and looks stylish too. The latest news making rounds in the Tollywood tinsel town is that Simha Balakrishna is all set to grace the silver screens with a guest appearance in Manchu Manoj’s upcoming movie titled “Vuu Kodathara Vulikki Padathara.” A debutant director Raja is directing the movie and Lakshmi Manchu is producing the film under Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. The movie is gearing up to hit the floors shortly. On the other hand, Bala Krishna is busy with his projects Sri Rama Rajyam and a film with Paruchuri Murali.
