While the Allu family is busy with the marriage of Bunny, here is some news from the Konidela family. Well, it is heard that Chiranjeevi has donned the role of a teacher and he is taking ‘early morning’ classes. The only student for that is Ramcharan Tej and here are few other details on this.

It is heard that every morning, while Charan is doing his workouts, Chiru has been giving his education such as- how to okay scripts? How to analyze a project and decide and was sharing his career details. It seems he is also recalling how he handled few situations in his career and is giving minute details to guide Charan.

The cine folks are saying “Chiru is there for Charan that is okay, but who is there for Chiru in politics? One thing is, nowadays Chiru is looking very relaxed after his merger with Congress. Usually, he is used to doing whatever he is told instead of creating and doing something on his own that’s why he is busy taking classes for Charan. Whether Cherry is an obedient student or not, we don’t know…”

Manchu Manoj prank irritates Salman Khan

Manchu Manoj is usually known for his easy going nature and the usual pranks up his sleeve. However, it is heard that his recent gesture at a public event raised the temperatures slightly and eventually got cooled. Well, all this was happening at the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) curtain raiser match between South Indian actors team and Bollywood team.

It is heard that Genelia was clapping for the Bollywood team as she came along with them. Those who were present there reveal that Manchu Manoj got cheesed off a bit with this and picked Genelia up and took her away in irritation. His point was how come she will support Bollywood by working in south? Buzz is that Manoj managed to do all this without falling into the cameras eyes.

Later the ground staff revealed Genny scolded Manoj, got irritated and walked away fuming. However, it seems she came back with Salman Khan to the same spot. And Salman was reportedly standing there silently as if waiting to see who will repeat such acts and sending a silent warning of sorts to Manchu Manoj.

As usual, Manchu Manoj looked at Sallu from top to toe with a smile and was reportedly sharing it later with his group “is he thinking its any cinema? it was just for fun, didn’t understand why he took it to heart…”. 

Rajamouli's 'Eega' gets 5 Crore offer for Tamil

Did S S Rajamouli's Eega get an offer of close to Rs 5 crore for the Tamil Version? Yes, say the sources in the industry. The buzz is that the offer made by a prominent producer in Tamil Nadu is the highest so far for any Telugu film to be simultaneously made in Tamil.

In the recent few years, except for the Tamil version of Arundhati, none of the Telugu films dubbed in Tamil have managed to pull the audience to the cinema halls. However, S S Rajamouli's brand image has transcended boundaries over the past few years and his blockbuster film Magadheera is going to hit the screens in Tamil Nadu soon as Maaveeran. The actual shooting of Eega is going to begin from today after almost two weeks of trial shooting in a specially designed set in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad.

The Telugu and Tamil versions of the film are going to be shot parallely.

Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are playing the lead roles in the film. Sai Korrapati is producing the film and Suresh Babu is presenting it. Jamie Fowlds, who worked for movies like Parzania, Lamhaa is the cinematographer for the movie. M.M.Keeravani is the music composer and editing will be done Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao.

Balakrishna now set to romance Saloni

Saloni, whose career got boost with SS Rajamouli’s Maryadaramanna will pair with Balakrishna in Paruchuri Murali’s movie.

Lakshmi Rai plays female lead in the movie. Balakrishna is playing triple roles in this movie. Hence, he needs three heroines beside him. He already had some romance with Lakshmi Rai during the first schedule of the movie. Now, he will romance with Saloni in the second schedule of his movie which will start from 11th of March. The name of the third heroine is not yet finalized.

This film is produced by ML Padma Kumar Chowdary under Keerti Combines banner.. Brahmanandam, Jayasudha, Pradeep Rawat, Aditya Menon, Nadia and some others are acting in this film.

Balaiah has no objections to act with newcomers or young heroines. Balakrishna’s other notable movie in progress is Sreerama Rajyam directed by Bapu.

Sunil to play Madhavan in 'Tanu Weds Manu' remake

Tollywood producers Dil Raju and Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) are planning to jointly remake the successful Bollywood film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ in which Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut played the lead roles.

Comedian turned hero Sunil might be doing the remake of Tanu Weds Manu in Telugu.

Producers Dil Raju, Bujji and Tagore Madhu have joined hands to form a new production house and they are planning to remake this super hit Hindi film in Telugu as their first production.

Buzz is that when Sunil was approached for this movie, he readily agreed to be the lead role in this remake.

Sunil tasted failure with RGV's Appalraju, so he wants to bounce back. Tanu Weds Manu was released last week and went on to become a good hit. The film has Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. 

Basically, the film is a romantic comedy entertainer with steamy scenes involving the lead couple. Watch this space to know who would play the lead roles, other starcast and technicians.

Naga Chaitanya turns Dream Lover to Kajal

It is known that Naga Chaitanya and Kajal Agarwal have been busy with a new film under the direction of Ajay Bhuyan. The movie has been titled as Dream Lover which is being produced by D. Shiva Prasad Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies banner.

Dream Lover is touted as an action-packed love story with ample mass elements. The movie has almost completed the talkie part and the unit will soon fly Europe and US for filming the songs. Devisri Prasad is composing the music for the film.

Other supporting cast includes Sriram, Samyukta, Dr Brahmanandam, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Rishi, Kelly Dorge.

Ram Charan with director Sampath Nandi

Ram Charan’s Merupu finally seems to be called off due to its over-budget. Now the Mega Power Star has signed up a new project in the direction of Sampath Nandi which will move onto the floors in the place of Merupu.

Sampath Nandi has earlier directed Emaindi Ee Vela with Varun Sandesh which is an average scorer at the Box-Office. Sources say Charan, who was impressed with the subject narrated by Sampath gave his nod to this young director. N.V.Prasad will produce this new film. However, the official announcement of the film is yet to be made by the producer.

How Much Is Ramcharan's Remuneration?? : A Gossip

It is known news that the mega brothers Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu have been making a lot of noise about ‘Magadheera’ costing Rs 35 crores and ‘Orange’ costing Rs 33 crores. Not only that, with allegations making rounds that director Bommarillu Bhaskar made them spend upto the range of ‘Magadheera’, a discussion has begun on how much could be the remuneration of Ramcharan for ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Orange’.

Because, the budget of any film also involves the remuneration of the hero that’s why, it is natural to get a question as to how much did Naga Babu extract in the form of Charan’s remuneration.

“I am very happy to act in my Babai’s banner”- until this statement came from Charan during the ‘Orange’ audio release function, many thought that Anjana Productions was Chiranjeevi’s home banner. Also, with Charan announcing that he will be the producer for his daddy’s 150th film, it is becoming clear that Chiranjeevi has no connection with Anjana Productions.  

So, just like Aswini Dutt who produced Charan’s first film, R B Choudary who is producing Charan’s fourth film, even Naga Babu is also a producer. Only difference is, he is Charan’s ‘Babai’. For Charan, he feels closer to Geetha Arts that produced his second film than Anjana Productions. Therefore, a talk has begun as to how much did Ramcharan take from his ‘Babai’ as remuneration? How many crores remuneration did Naga Babu calculate and included it in the film budget?

Non-bailable warrant against Sridevi

A local court has issued non-bailable warrant against producer Boney Kapoor, his wife Sridevi and four others after they failed to appear before it in a case of alleged copyright violation. Birbal Singh Rana, a local writer, has alleged that the Boney’s BSK Network and Entertainment Pvt Ltd had stolen his script for their movie 'Wanted'. Birbal in his petition alleged that in 2004 he had submitted his copyright script to the company, but it was rejected.
What makes this case interesting is that Wanted is a remake of Telugu blockbuster Pokiri. Boney Kapoor bought the remake rights of Pokiri for an astronomical price and remade it in Hindi under Prabhudeva direction. The story credits for this film were clearly given to the original director Puri Jagannadh. Pokiri was released in 2006 and the petitioner Birbal claims that he submitted his copyright script to the company in 2004.

Rana Replaces Ram in "Oosaravelli"!.

Director Surender Reddy has finally zeroed on in Rana after much brainstorm. Soon after the blockbuster Kick, Surender Reddy planned two films one with Mahesh Babu and another with Ram. His film with Mahesh Babu titled Mr.Perfect will only take place in 2011. So before that he wanted to start another film, Oosaravelli, with Ram as hero. But the movie’s script has gone several changes and finally it had its launch few months ago. Then after the script change, he titled it as Ram and Genny. But few months later, producer Sravanthi Ravikishore and Surender Reddy have decided to drop the project, as it is no longer viable due to budget constraints. So the hit director has toyed with several ideas but finally has decided to revive his pet script Oosaravelli and zeroed on Rana who made debut with Leader.

Buzz is that producer Bujji, who is lying low these days after Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam, is producing it. Rana who is also trying hard to finalise his second film in Telugu after his proposed film with Selva Raghavan dropped is happy that Surender Reddy has chosen him. Source:TeluguCinema

Why is NTR faking?

This is one of the hottest gossips that are making rounds in film nagar. Recently, the first week collections of Brindavanam were revealed by producer Dil Raju to the media. As per him the first week collections were more than twenty crore rupees. However, the trade reports are contradicting with producer’s collection chart.

There is more than three crore difference between the actual collections and the producer’s press release, say trade circles. Brindavanam is a hit commercially and there are no second thoughts about it. This is not only the best ever opening in NTR’s career but also one of the best openings in the history of Telugu cinema. But why are NTR and Dil Raju faking with false reports?

If the buzz is to be believed, Dil Raju and NTR actually thought of releasing the actual collections of Brindavanam. But they were pressurized by NTR fans to release this 22 crore figure. The reason for it is the ‘fake record’ of Khaleja!!

Khaleja’s result is not a secret as it was written off right on the first day. Even its poor start and sliding collections made it clear that it is only going down the hill. However, Khaleja producers and hero Mahesh didn’t give up on the film and to boost up it at box office they have released a fake figure (21 crore+) about its first week collections so that it stays in news.

This irked NTR fans as their film was a genuine hit. They don’t want their matinee idol’s film to be lagging behind a flop film’s collections record, be it fake or real. So they asked Dil Raju to make it sure that the press release should read more than Khaleja first week collections. So folks that is the secret behind this fake record!

Okay, which film holds the first week record of Telugu film industry? The answer is one and only Magadheera. Many films are breaking its record though fake reports these days. Let’s hope someone breaks this ‘really’ and declare it officially with pride and honor.

Secret behind 'Sweety' Anushka

For all those who know about the real name of anushka, this would still be interesting. Yes, the real name of this ravishing beauty is Sweety Shetty but how come and who named her as anushka might be your next interesting question. Talking in a chat show, anushka narrated a small flash back about how her screen name sticked onto anushka.

Those were the times when Sweety was spending good time with Nagarjuna, Puri Jagannath and Sonu Sood shooting for the movie ‘Super.’ During a discussion about the names that are to be scrolled in titles, all four were hesitant to go with Sweety Shetty. Obviously going through various rounds of friendly discussions, Nagarjuna loved to rename Sweety as ‘Smriti’ while it was Sonu Sood who preferred it as ‘anushka.’ When the choice was left to Sweety’s parents, they gave the screen name to their Sweet daughter as ‘anushka.’ Interesting to hear…Sweety Shetty turned to anushka Shetty.

Ram Charan With Different Look in Merupu

Ram Charan has come up with two different looks in his last two films, Magadheera and Orange. Now, this young actor is working on yet another different makeover in his upcoming film Merupu.

It is known that Merupu is a film being made on Soccer game under the direction of Dharani. “Merupu is a tale of a spirited protagonist who counters the plans of the antagonist in a series of soccer matches,” says Ram Charan.

“Merupu showcases me with some muscles and a well- toned body since appropriate look adds dimension to the character,” adds Charan

The movie is slated for a release in the month of June.
